[Dorm] 2024 Summer 2nd(August) Short-term dormitory application guide

1. Application Schedule (Can be changed due to internal issues) 

- Residence Period: July 30th, 2024 (Tue) ~ August 17th, 2024 (Sat) 

- Move-In: From 10:00 A.M to 7:00 PM on July 30th, 2024 (Tue)

- Move-Out: By 10:00 A.M August 17th, 2024 (Sat)


  • ※ Move-in hours: weekdays (Mon~Fri) 10:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.

    (Move-In/out is only allowed during this period.) 


2. Application Qualification 

- Students registered for 2024 summer 2nd(August) short-term Program (The payment process should be completed.)



3. Application period 

- June 20th, 2024 (Thu) 00:00 ~ June 24th, 2024 (Mon) 23:59 (Korean Standard Time)

4. Room Type and Fee:  (Can be changed due to internal issues) 

Room type (HANWOORI)

Fee(KRW)

Double Room (Public restroom outside dormitory room)

530,000 won


※ Please check “Life@ELC→Dormitory” on our website(https://elc.ewha.ac.kr/) for more information and photos on the interior facilities of the dormitory. 


5. How to Apply 

Go to our website (http://atom.ewha.ac.kr/) → Log in with the ID used for course application→ dormitory → dormitory application → Korean short-term course summer 2nd (August) semester dormitory application → Submit Application → Save 


※ If you are unable to apply for the dormitory even after submitting online application form for the summer (August) short-term semester, please try again after refreshing the page.


6. Announcement of Application Results & Dormitory Fee Payment Information

- Will be announced individually through email on June 26th, 2024 (Wed)



7. Payment period of the dormitory 

- June 26th, 2024 (Wed) ~ July 31st, 2024 (Mon) (KST)


  • ※ Please make payment after checking the application result announcement delivered through email.
  • ※ Please be punctual. (The opportunity will be given to other applicants on the waiting list, if the payment is not made within the payment due date.)
  • ※ Send the payment receipt to kfldorm@ewha.ac.kr by the payment due date.
  • ※ ‘Sender/Depositor Name’ should be the student’s name.



8. Required Document Submission 

(1) Passport copy (paper printout)

- Submission Period: Submit to dormitory office on the day of move-in.

- Condition: to print and submit on paper.

10. Note 

  1. 1. If you have not applied or cancel application of ELC short-term course, the dormitory application will automatically be cancelled.
  2. 2. The room will be randomly assigned in the order of application submission.
  3. 3. Application will be cancelled if dormitory fee is not paid by the deadline.
  4. 4. Dormitory is a communal living space, and there may be various inconveniences such as noise, personality/age/nationality/lifestyle differences. It is impossible to move room after moving in, so please apply after consideration.
  5. 5. If there is a discrepancy between the Korean version of this notice and the English, Chinese, or Japanese version, the Korean version shall take precedence.

  7. 7. If there are not enough rooms available, you may be assigned to other dormitories.
