Students who have passed the document screening for the 2025 Winter Intensive program

Students who have completed tuition payment for the 2025 Winter Intensive program

※ Each student can apply for up to two consecutive semesters

※ Students continuing from the previous semester will be assigned to the same room, as room changes are not allowed.

※ For male students, dorm assignment may not be available due to the limited number of rooms.

  • - If the remitter’s name differs from the student’s, you must notify us by email for confirmation.



* [Important] Dormitory Construction Notice – 2025 Winter Semester

1. Period: More than one month, from late December to mid-February (exact dates will be announced later)

2. Buildings Affected: Building A, Building C

3. Construction Work: Replacement of heating and cooling systems, interior renovations, and other facility improvements

4. Important Notes

1) During the construction period, residents of the affected buildings must move to temporarily assigned rooms.

2) Temporary room assignments will be made with consideration of similar conditions (number of occupants, presence of private bathroom, etc.), but some differences may occur depending on the situation.

3) Individual notices of temporary room assignments will be given in late December.

5. How to Apply


Log in using the same ID you used to apply for the intensive course, on the ELC course application website(http://atom.ewha.ac.kr/) → dormitory → dormitory application → Korean intensive course Winter semester dormitory application → Submit Application(* Please note that the email address you provide in the dormitory application cannot be changed later, so be sure to enter a valid and accessible email address.) → Save


※ If you are unable to apply for the dormitory even after submitting the online application for the Intensive course, please try refreshing the page.




6. Required Document for Submission

※ If any required document is missing or incomplete, the student will not be allowed to move into the dormitory. Please ensure that all required documents are prepared and submitted upon move-in.

Important Notes for Chest X-ray Examination Result Submission

Only the result taken after September 1, 2025 will be accepted

② The result must include the student's name (in English), date of birth, date of inspection, and test result information

③ The result must clearly state “No Tuberculosis”

④ If pulmonary tuberculosis test results are included, a chest X-ray (for tuberculosis) can be replaced with a blood test

⑤ The result must be written in either Korean or English

⑥ If not written in English or Korean, an official English translation must be separately requested from the hospital and submitted

※ Dormitory application for the Winter 2025 semester must be submitted together. If you do not apply for the Winter semester, you cannot stay during the vacation period. 

※ The fee is included in the Winter 2025 dormitory payment.
 ※ The same room used during the 2025 Fall semester will be assigned. Room changes are not allowed.
 ※ If you do not apply for Fall semester vacation housing, you must move out with all belongings before the Winter semester and move in again. If you leave without collecting your belongings, all remaining items will be discarded.


8. Refund Regulation

※ To cancel your dormitory application, you must send a cancellation request via email to kfldorm@ewha.ac.kr.

※ Refunds or partial refunds due to dormitory construction and temporary room assignments resulting from it are not allowed.

9. Note(Please read carefully)

a) If you do not register for or cancel your enrollment in the Intensive Korean Program at the Language Education Center, your dormitory application will be automatically canceled, and you must move out. (No refund of the dormitory fee will be given.)

b) Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order of application.

c) If the dormitory fee is not paid within the designated period, the application will be automatically canceled.

d) If there are any abnormalities in the chest X-ray (tuberculosis) test results, dormitory admission will not be allowed.

e) The dormitory is a shared living space. Residents may experience discomfort due to differences in noise levels, personality, age, nationality, or lifestyle with their roommates. Room changes are not allowed after check-in, so please carefully consider these factors before applying.

f) In the event of any discrepancies between the Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese versions of this notice, the Korean version shall take precedence.

g) If your penalty points total 10 or more, or if you are expelled from the dormitory for violating dormitory rules, you must immediately move out. (Dormitory fees will not be refunded. Please refer to the penalty point guidelines provided at check-in.)

h) Starting from the 2025 Fall semester, bedding will no longer be provided. All bedding items, including pillows, mattress covers, and blankets, must be individually supplied by residents.


10. Check-in Procedure 

 a) Visit the I-House International Dormitory Office at Ewha Womans University after arriving on or after     November 26, 2025(Wed)
 b) Submit the required documents: a copy of your passport and the original or copy of chest X-ray result.
