The tuition fees for the year 2025 are as follows: starting from the July semester of 2025, the admission fee is 100,000 KRW, and the tuition fee is 900,000 KRW. For more detailed information, you can refer to "Korean Language Education > Short-term program > Program Introduction > Tuition Fee."
-Policies related to credit approvals (if credits can be transferred, and how many credits can be approved) are decided by the school you are enrolled at.
*Please consult with your home university first about credit approval.
Excused absences may be granted only when supporting documents are submitted. The reasons for excused absences and related matters are subject to internal regulations.
When registering for the Short-term program, you must submit one photo, which will be used to issue your student ID card. You will receive your student ID in your classroom on the first day. With the ID card, students can benefit from the following:
access to university library (book check-outs are not allowed) / access to University Health Service Center (at private expenses)
-Attendance: Student has to be in attendance for no less than 12 days out of total 15 days.
-Grade: Student must achieve an average grade of 70 at least to complete the course.
The following items are provided:
- In rooms: bed (mattress), desk, chair, bookshelf, wardrobe, refrigerator
- For individuals: Bedding (sheets, blanket, pillow) , entrance card.

Way to applying will be informed about 2~3 month before the semester starts via homepage.
Short-term program application qualification: Students who registered to Short-Term program(Feb, Jul, Aug)
-10% of tuition fee will be reduced for regular and exchange students at Ewha when taking Short-term Program.

-Students from these countries must have their Visa issued on their own, such as C-3 Visa. As Short-term Program is very short, ELC does not provide any other Visa-related documents besides the receipt for tuition payment.
-Citizens from these countries can stay in Korea for 90 days without any Visa or with a tourist Visa. Thus, a Student Visa is not needed.
