The Ewha Womans University Language Center (Director Eun-sung Kim) held a retirement ceremony for Professor Hyunjin Kim on Tuesday, February 10, in Room 101. This event held special significance as the first-ever retirement ceremony since the Center's founding. The ceremony was attended by the Director and fellow faculty members to honor the occasion.

 Since joining in 1997, Professor Hyunjin Kim has dedicated nearly 30 years to laying the foundation for Korean language education at the Center. She has led the institution's growth by contributing to various fields, including curriculum and textbook development, as well as international cooperation. During the ceremony, the Director expressed deep respect and gratitude for her years of service in a farewell tribute. In her retirement speech, Professor Kim shared her reflections on her time at the Center and offered heartfelt advice for the future of Korean language education.

 Following the speech, faculty members offered a warm round of applause to celebrate Professor Kim’s new chapter. The event concluded with a group commemorative photo.
