The 2026 summer semester commenced on Thursday, June 4th. This semester, around 500 students in total will be studying Korean at the Ewha Womans University Language Education Center.

Welcoming the new semester, students kicked off their first summer schedule with an orientation on living in Korea and a campus tour. Along with their Korean language classes, students are also scheduled to participate in various cultural experience programs. During the cultural classes, they will visit Lotte World and the Folk Museum to beat the summer heat while experiencing and understanding traditional Korean lifestyle and culture. Additionally, after-school cultural activities will include a tour of the KBS broadcasting station and a workshop for making Dancheong (traditional multicolored patterns) keychains from Gyeonghuigung Palace.

This summer semester's intensive program will run until Wednesday, August 12th.
